SIET Mechanical Engineering Students Secure First Rank in IDEATHON 2026

SIET, Nilokheri proudly announces that 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering students secured First Rank in the IDEATHON organized by Vikas Group of Companies, Faridabad (Haryana).The team comprising Mr. Harsh, Mr. Aakash Tyagi, Mr. Paras, and Ms. Palak participated under the category “Sustainable Hybrid Cooling” and proposed an innovative idea titled Hybrid Solar Refrigerated Van. The students competed through three rounds of presentations and discussions with industry experts and emerged victorious among teams from various engineering institutes and universities. The team was guided by Dr. Jatinder Kataria, Assistant Professor, and Mechanical Engineering Department. Director-Principal Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Rose, HOD Mechanical Engineering.
