ELIGIBILITY FOR B.TECH. COURSES

Minimum Academic Qualifications for B.E./B.Tech.

Should be a pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:
a) Chemistry
b) Bio-Technology
c) Biology/ Technical Vocational subject
Note:
If a candidate has Physics, chemistary and Mathmatics in his/ her Diploma Course, then his/ her Diploma is equivalent to 10+2(Non-Medical), rest of the conditions will remain the same as per the Prospectus 2019-20.
For admission to B.E./B.Tech (Bio-Technology), the candidates should be a pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects:
a) Chemistry
b) Bio-Tech
c) Computer Science
Obtained at least 45% marks (42.75% in case of candidate belonging to SC category) in the above subjects taken together for B.E./B.Tech and B.E/B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) respectively. Note: 1. If there is any change in minimum academic qualification in terms of percentage in aggregate for private institute for the current session, it will be incorporated at the time of counseling.
2. For Kashmiri Migrants relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% subject to the minimum eligibility requirement in B.E./B.Tech. Kashmiri Migrant are required to fill Online Application Form on website: www.onlinetesthry.gov.in Basis of admission for B.E./B.Tech:
The Basis of admission for B.E./B.Tech is inter-se-merit of combined merit of JEE Main-2018 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.



ELIGIBILITY FOR B.TECH. LEET COURSES

Minimum Academic Qualifications for Admission to 2nd year (3rd Semester) of B.E./B.Tech. Courses

a) Obtained at least 45% marks (42.75% in case of candidate belonging to SC category) in aggregate in Diploma in Engg./ Technology of a duration of 3 years or more from Haryana State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent.
b) Passed B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (42.75 % in case of candidates belonging to SC category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
c) Provided that in case of students belonging to B.Sc stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second Year subjects.
d) Provided further that, the students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream.
e) Provided further those students, who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE/UGC approved instt. or B.Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year Engineering Degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
The admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned in a, b, d and e above.
f) For Kashmiri Migrants (KM) relaxation in cut-off percentage upto 10% subject to minimum eligibility requirement. As per AICTE, seats in lateral entry may be taken up to a maximum of 20% of sanctioned intake.
Basis of Admission:
Admissions shall be made on the basis of the rank/inter se merit of Online Entrance Test (OLET) for B.E./ B.Tech (LEET)-2018 conducted online by HSTES.
Note:
Candidates with Diploma in Architecture are eligible to seek admission under Lateral Entry Program only for B.E/ B.Tech. Civil Engineering If there is any change in minimum academic qualification for private institute for the current session, it will be incorporated at the time of counseling.
